Minus the Bear - Throwin Shapes

Man, im soooo obsessed with this song. It has been on repeat since forever. I first heard of them 2005 or 2006 thru my good friend Agee. He has been raving about it and was bugging me to take a listen. And Im so glad I did. An obsession that lasted for years started. I would say that they have influenced my music, teaching me the essence of minimalism. Less is better. One can make good pop songs with less chords. Their brilliant use of guitar effects and synths coupled with sometimes off tempo drumming formed a sound thats entirely their own. Listening to ‘Throwin Shapes’ made me remember how much i loved this band.
